KNOWING BEYOND WHAT I CAN SEE
I have been experiencing a time of great uncertainty in my personal life.
Last year I began the certification process to become an EFT Practitioner. In the midst of it, I have experienced many disruptions in the form of death, a severe medical emergency for my husband, and severe disturbance in my child's life.
In addition to all this, I have experienced doubts about my ability to be an effective EFT Practitioner. Life circumstances caused me to lose focus and direction in the program, along with an erosion of self-confidence.
I have experienced disruptions in my Internet service and the necessity of some of those working with me having to cancel appointments.
I have had to step completely out of my comfort zone, adding to the feeling I am experiencing right now.
The power we celebrate in July is the Power of Understanding.
Understanding is the ability to know, perceive and apprehend. The disciple representing the power of Understanding is Thomas, the disciple who questioned the news of the resurrection. Jesus proved the reality of the resurrection by letting Thomas feel his wounds. Thomas demonstrated his spiritual understanding when he declared,
"My Lord and my God."
Jesus goes on to say
"Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe."
John 20: 28-29
Proverbs 3:5-6 is telling me to
Trust in the Lord with all my heart, and lean not on my understanding. If I acknowledge him, he will make my path smooth and straight. I must hold on to this and persevere until I reach my goal.
In the meantime, I must hold on and stay centered no matter what.
