I originally wrote this on a cloudy Monday, and I dubbed it my Monday Morning Reset.

Why a reset?

Two words:  Holiday Indulgence.

I lost my edge over the holiday.  I am disciplined when it comes to my diet and other aspects of my health. Not so much over this past holiday.

I became increasingly aware of compromise in recent days, each day, drifting further and further away from the regimen I established in 2017.

I eased my consumption of supplements, including my protein shakes, taking them once or twice a week instead of daily.

That was the day I got back on track.

Monday is also garbage day.  Time to get rid of what is not serving, be it physically or metaphysically.

Activities included cleaning out the refrigerator, emptying the shredder that I use in my forgiveness routine, and meditation. I took the garbage to the curb.

I prepared my protein shakes, one for the morning, one for the afternoon.

The morning one has the protein powder, spinach, collagen, and an immune defense formula.

The afternoon one contained protein powder, cacao (not cocoa), walnuts, half a banana, and a new addition to the regimen, Oat milk.

I also took my morning supplements.

It was not hard to get back on track.
